My brothers I would like to begin the year by saying, Thank you!

I will endeavor to merit the confidence you have reposed in me. I have a busy year planned and with your help it can be successful.

In my years as an officer on my approach to the east I have had the privilege to get to know most of you. I also hope to foster a relationship with our newest brothers. In the months to come I will call on many of you to help aid and assist with activities and events within and away from the lodge. I hope the call does not fall on deaf ears, for if it does the best laid plans will undoubtedly fail.

I have observed my predecessors and have tried to incorporate the best of those before, and to avoid the things that have not worked into a plan of how to move our lodge forward.

My primary goals for this year are, increase the fellowship with our fellow brothers and to increase the financial state of the lodge while increasing our charity.

How? You may ask…. With your aid!!

On January 21^st we will begin work on a fellowcraft room in the basement. On the calendar each month will be a day set aside that any brother can come to the lodge and just enjoy the fellowship of brothers( no long meeting!!) by shooting pool, playing foosball , playing cards or just talking. Please Come join us !!!

Along with the usual pancake breakfasts, Golf tournament and Haunted House I have some new ideas for fundraising this year that will increase our ability to fund our good works. In May we will try a new thing, a Murder Mystery Dinner. We are also trying to plan a skeet shooting fundraiser for summer or fall. The poker tournament and pasta dinner may even be resurrected before the year is over.

In order to be successful I need brothers willing to help work and organize these events. In this trestleboard you will find a list of committees that need help / chairmen. Read the list and please donate some time to help your lodge by letting me know which events you want to be part of.
